Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving to Discovery Park, start by navigating to Seattle, WA 98199. From downtown Seattle, take WA-99 N to the Western Avenue exit. Merge onto Western Ave, then turn left onto Elliott Ave W. Continue on Elliott Ave W and take the ramp onto I-5 N. Follow I-5 N and take exit 169 for Mercer St. Merge onto Mercer St and continue onto Broad St. Turn right onto 15th Ave W, and follow it until you reach the entrance of Discovery Park. Parking is available within the park, but be aware that it may fill up quickly on weekends.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Discovery Park via public transportation, start by finding the nearest bus stop. You can take King County Metro Bus #29 from downtown Seattle, which will take you directly to the park. Board the bus at any stop along its route, and the journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Discovery Park' stop, which is located close to the park entrance. The bus fare is around $2.75 for a one-way trip, and you can pay with cash or an ORCA card.

• Walking

  If you're already nearby and prefer to walk, head to the main entrance of Discovery Park located at 3801 Discovery Park Blvd, Seattle, WA 98199. The park is accessible from various neighborhoods, including Magnolia. Follow the signs leading to the park entrance, and be prepared for a bit of elevation change as you approach the park.
