    From downtown Redmond, head to the nearest bus stop on 164th Ave NE. Take the King County Metro bus number 542 towards Seattle. The bus will take you through the scenic routes of Redmond. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop at NE 40th St & 7th Ave NE. From there, walk towards the south on 7th Ave NE and turn left onto the Burke-Gilman Trail. Follow the trail for about 15 minutes until you reach Lake Union.

    Biking

    If you prefer to bike, rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services in Redmond. Start at the Redmond Town Center and head west on NE 83rd St. Continue onto the Burke-Gilman Trail, following the signs towards Seattle. Ride along the trail for about 10 miles, enjoying the beautiful scenery. You will eventually reach Lake Union. Look for signs that indicate the lake is nearby.
