    From the center of Redmond, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is at Redmond Town Center. Take King County Metro Bus Route 542 towards 'North Bend.' Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop at 'Novelty Hill Rd & 216th Ave NE.' From there, walk north on 216th Ave NE for about 0.4 miles until you reach NE Novelty Hill Rd. Turn left onto NE Novelty Hill Rd and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. The Redmond Watershed Preserve entrance will be on your left at 21760 NE Novelty Hill Rd.

    If you prefer biking, rent a bike from a local rental shop in downtown Redmond. Start your ride on the Sammamish River Trail heading east. After approximately 4 miles, turn right onto NE Novelty Hill Rd. Continue for another 1 mile until you reach 21760 NE Novelty Hill Rd. The Redmond Watershed Preserve will be on your right. Make sure to follow bike lanes and paths for safety.
