From Redmond, head to the nearest bus stop for King County Metro. You can catch Bus 542 at the Redmond Transit Center, which is located at 16110 NE 83rd St, Redmond, WA 98052. Board the bus heading towards Seattle. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop at 5th Ave N & Thomas St. From the bus stop, walk north on 5th Ave N for about 2 blocks until you reach the entrance of the Seattle Monorail, located at 370 Thomas St #200, Seattle, WA 98109.

If you prefer to bike, rent a bike from one of the local bike-share services available in Redmond. Start your ride on the Sammamish River Trail heading south towards Seattle. This scenic route will take you through beautiful parks and along the river.
