From any central location in Redmond, walk to the nearest bus stop. Take the Metro Transit bus route 542 towards Seattle. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at 34th Ave NW & NW 75th St. Once you get off, walk south for about 0.2 miles on 34th Ave NW. After about a 5-minute walk, you will see Sunset Hill Park on your right side.

Follow the trail to the Sammamish River Trail and continue south until you reach the intersection with 520. From there, follow the signs to Seattle, which will lead you to Ballard.
