    From Renton Transit Center, take the Sound Transit bus route 586 towards Seattle. The bus will take you directly to downtown Seattle. Get off at the stop at 2nd Ave & University St. From there, walk south on 2nd Ave for about 3 blocks until you reach 1st Ave. Turn right onto 1st Ave and continue for 1 block until you see the Seattle Art Museum on your left at 1300 1st Ave.

    Light Rail

    From Renton, take the King County Metro bus route 105 to the Tukwila International Boulevard Station. At the station, transfer to the Link Light Rail heading north towards Northgate. Ride the light rail until you reach the University Street Station. Exit the station and walk west on University St for about 3 blocks until you reach 1st Ave. Turn left on 1st Ave, and you will find the Seattle Art Museum at 1300 1st Ave.

    Walking

    If you are staying in a central location in Renton, you can take a scenic walk to the Seattle Art Museum. Head north on 4th St towards Rainier Ave S, then turn left on Rainier Ave S.
