    Getting There

    Bus

    From downtown Seattle, head to the nearest bus stop and take Bus Route 512 towards Everett Station. After about 45 minutes, get off at the stop at 'Woodinville-Duvall Road & 132nd Ave NE'. From there, walk west on Woodinville-Duvall Road for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with NE 145th St. Turn left and continue walking for another 15 minutes until you reach the River Trail entrance.

    Light Rail + Bus

    Take the Link Light Rail from Westlake Station in downtown Seattle towards Northgate. After about 20 minutes, get off at Northgate Station. From there, transfer to Bus Route 75 towards Lake City. Ride for about 25 minutes and get off at 'Lake City Way NE & NE 145th St'. Walk east for about 20 minutes, crossing the road at NE 145th St and continuing straight until you reach the entrance to the River Trail.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from any of the bike-sharing stations in downtown Seattle. Head north on 2nd Ave, then take a left on NE 45th St and follow it until you reach the Burke-Gilman Trail. Follow the trail east until you reach the intersection with the Sammamish River Trail. Continue following the Sammamish River Trail north until you reach the River Trail entrance. This route is approximately 15 miles long.

    Walking

    If you are near the University of Washington campus, you can walk to the River Trail. Start at the main entrance of the campus and head northeast on NE 45th St. Continue walking until you reach 25th Ave NE and then turn north. Follow 25th Ave NE until you hit the Burke-Gilman Trail. From there, follow the trail eastbound until you reach the intersection with the Sammamish River Trail. The River Trail entrance is just a short walk from there.
