You will ride for about 25-30 minutes. Get off at the bus stop at N 50th St & Phinney Ave N. From there, walk 2 blocks south on Phinney Ave N, and you will arrive at the zoo entrance. The total journey time is approximately 35-40 minutes.

  • Public Transit - Light Rail and Bus

    From the Westlake Station, take the Link Light Rail heading north towards Northgate. Get off at the University Station. Transfer to Metro Bus Route 70 towards Ballard. Ride the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop at N 50th St & Phinney Ave N. Walk 2 blocks south on Phinney Ave N to reach the zoo entrance. The total journey will take about 50-60 minutes.

  • Walking

    If you are in the nearby neighborhood of Green Lake, you can walk to Woodland Park Zoo. Head west on Green Lake Dr N, then turn left onto N 50th St. Continue walking until you reach Phinney Ave N, then turn right. The zoo entrance will be on your left. This walk will take you approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace.
