If you are near the center of Capitol Hill, you can start your journey by heading east on E Pine St toward 15th Ave E. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles. Once you reach 15th Ave E, turn right and walk south for a short distance until you reach Volunteer Park. The Water Tower Observation Deck is located within the park at 1247 15th Ave E. Follow the signs within the park to the tower.

From anywhere in Capitol Hill, locate the nearest bus stop for King County Metro. You can take bus number 8 or 10 heading toward Capitol Hill. Get off at the stop at 15th Ave E & E Galer St. From there, walk south on 15th Ave E for about 5 minutes until you reach Volunteer Park. The Water Tower Observation Deck is located within the park at 1247 15th Ave E. Follow signs to the tower.
