You'll reach the Talapus Lake Trailhead parking area on your left, just before the road turns into a gravel path. Make sure to arrive early as the parking lot can fill up quickly, especially on weekends.

For those using public transportation, take a bus from Seattle or North Bend to Snoqualmie Pass. The closest bus stop is along I-90. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile along Snoqualmie Pass Road to reach the Talapus Lake Trailhead. Be mindful of the traffic on the road as there are no sidewalks for a portion of the walk. It's advisable to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may be limited.
Hiking
If you are already in the Snoqualmie Pass area and prefer to hike to the trailhead, you can take the Pacific Crest Trail south from Snoqualmie Pass. This will connect you to the Talapus Lake Trail.
