Getting There

  • Car

    From Spokane River, head east on E Riverside Ave toward N Howard St. Continue onto I-90 E and keep left to stay on I-90 E. Take exit 287 for Sullivan Rd and turn left onto N Sullivan Rd. After about 1.5 miles, turn right onto E 24th Ave. Continue onto S Sargent Rd, and you will find Dishman Hills Natural Area at 625 S Sargent Rd, Spokane Valley, WA 99212. There is no entrance fee.

  • Public Transportation

    From Spokane River, you can take the Spokane Transit Authority bus route 90 towards Spokane Valley. Get off at the Sullivan Rd & 24th Ave stop. From there, it's about a 20-minute walk to Dishman Hills Natural Area. Walk east on E 24th Ave, then turn right onto S Sargent Rd. The natural area will be on your left at 625 S Sargent Rd. Bus fare is approximately $2.00 per ride.

  • Biking

    If you're biking from Spokane River, you can take the Centennial Trail heading east along the Spokane River. Follow the trail to the east until you reach the Sullivan Rd area. From there, navigate to S 24th Ave, then turn right onto S Sargent Rd, leading you directly to Dishman Hills Natural Area. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local biking regulations.
