Getting There

  • Public Transit - Bus

    Start at the Spokane Transit Authority Plaza located at 1230 W 1st Ave, Spokane, WA 99201. Board the bus route 66 towards 'North Spokane'. The bus will take you through downtown Spokane and up to the North Spokane area. Get off at the stop near the intersection of N Division St and E Francis Ave. From there, walk north on N Division St until you reach E Hawthorne Rd. Turn right onto E Hawthorne Rd and continue until you reach the entrance to Little Spokane River Natural Area, which will be on your left.

  • Biking

    If you're renting a bike in Spokane, start at Riverfront Park. Head north on the Spokane River Centennial Trail until you reach the intersection with N Division St. Continue north on N Division St until you hit E Francis Ave, then turn right. Follow E Francis Ave until you reach N Little Spokane Dr. Turn left onto N Little Spokane Dr, which will take you directly to the entrance of Little Spokane River Natural Area.

    For a scenic walk, start at Manito Park located at 1702 S Grand Blvd, Spokane, WA 99203. Walk north on S Grand Blvd until it turns into N Division St. Continue walking north on N Division St until you reach E Hawthorne Rd. Turn right on E Hawthorne Rd and follow it until you reach the entrance to Little Spokane River Natural Area on your left. This route will take you through some of Spokane's neighborhoods and parks.
