Public Transit - Bus
From downtown Spokane, head to the Spokane Transit Authority (STA) Plaza located at 701 W Riverside Ave. Take bus route 90 towards the North Spokane area. Stay on the bus for approximately 40 minutes until you reach the 'N Idaho Centennial Trail' stop. Once you disembark, follow the signs leading to the trail entrance, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
Walking
If you are staying near the Spokane River, you can walk to the N Idaho Centennial Trail. Start at the Riverfront Park and head north along the riverbank. Follow the river until you reach the East Mission Ave bridge. Cross the bridge and continue walking north along the path. The trail will lead you directly to the entrance of the N Idaho Centennial Trail, which will be on your left.
Bicycle Rental
For those who prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local bike shops in downtown Spokane, such as 'Spokane Bike Rentals'. Head towards the Spokane River and find the bike path that leads north. Follow the path along the river, which connects to the N Idaho Centennial Trail. The ride will take about 30 minutes, depending on your pace.
