Getting There

• Public Transit

  If you're starting from downtown Tacoma, head to the Tacoma Dome Station. You can take the Sound Transit Link Light Rail from there. Board the light rail heading towards the University of Washington Tacoma. Get off at the 'South 25th Street' station. From this station, you will exit and catch the Pierce Transit bus number 1 or 2 in the direction of East Tacoma. After about 10-15 minutes, get off at the stop for Upper Park St. You will be just a short walk from McKinley Park, which is located at 907 Upper Park St. Follow Upper Park St. north for a few blocks, and you will see the park entrance on your left.

• Walking

  If you're staying close to the area, you can walk directly to McKinley Park. From the Eastside neighborhood, head towards Upper Park St. Follow the street signs to navigate through the residential area. The park is well-marked, and you should see the entrance at 907 Upper Park St. The park features beautiful walking paths, and you can enjoy the old trees and unique features once you arrive.

• Bicycle

  For those looking to bike, you can ride along the bike lanes in Tacoma. Start at the waterfront and make your way towards the Eastside neighborhood. Use the designated bike routes that lead to Upper Park St. Once you reach Upper Park St, follow it until you reach the entrance to McKinley Park at 907 Upper Park St. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all traffic rules while biking.
