Getting There

    From Tacoma, head to the Tacoma Dome Station, which is located at 2601 E D St, Tacoma, WA 98421. You can take any local bus that goes to the station. Once you arrive at the Tacoma Dome Station, look for the Intercity Transit bus #601 that goes to Olympia. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. The bus will make stops along the way, and you should stay on until you reach the Olympia Transit Center. From the Olympia Transit Center, head south on 4th Ave SW, then turn right onto Sid Snyder Ave SW. Walk a few blocks, and you will reach the Washington State Capitol Building at 416 Sid Snyder Ave SW.

    Start at the Tacoma Amtrak Station located at 1001 Puyallup Ave, Tacoma, WA 98421. Board the Amtrak Cascades train heading south toward Portland. The train will take you to the Olympia-Lacey station. Upon arrival, exit the train and walk to the bus stop located near the station. Look for the Intercity Transit bus #60, which will take you to downtown Olympia. Get off at the stop closest to 4th Ave SW, then walk south on 4th Ave SW, turn right onto Sid Snyder Ave SW, and after a short walk, you will arrive at the Washington State Capitol Building.
