If you are in downtown Tacoma, start by heading east on S 11th St towards Pacific Ave. Continue straight for about 4 blocks until you reach Pacific Ave. Turn right onto Pacific Ave and walk south for about 3 blocks. The Washington State History Museum will be on your left at 1911 Pacific Ave.

Locate the nearest bus stop and take Pierce Transit Bus Route 1 or 2 heading towards the Tacoma Dome Station. Get off at the 'Pacific Ave & 11th St' stop. From there, walk north on Pacific Ave for about 2 blocks. The Washington State History Museum will be on your right at 1911 Pacific Ave.

If you have access to a bike, you can take the Thea Foss Waterway bike path. Start at the Foss Waterway and bike towards the Tacoma Art Museum. Continue along the path until you reach S 15th St, then take a right and go up to Pacific Ave. Turn left on Pacific Ave and bike north for about 3 blocks. The museum will be on your left at 1911 Pacific Ave.
