If you are starting from the Tacoma Dome Station, exit the station and head northwest on E 25th St. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Pacific Ave S. Cross Pacific Ave S and continue to walk on N 25th St. After about half a mile, turn left onto N Starr St. Continue straight for about 0.3 miles, and you will find Tacoma's First Hospital Historical Marker at 2509 N Starr St on your right.

From the Tacoma Dome Station, board Pierce Transit Bus Route 1 towards Tacoma Mall. Ride the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop at N 26th St & Pacific Ave S. From there, walk north on N 26th St until you reach N Starr St. Turn left on N Starr St and continue for about 0.2 miles. The historical marker will be on your left at 2509 N Starr St.
