If you're traveling by car, start by heading towards US-12 E from any point in The Blue Mountains region. Continue on US-12 E until you reach the junction with WA-123 N. Take WA-123 N and follow the signs towards Mount Rainier National Park. After approximately 40 miles, you will reach the entrance to the park where a fee may apply (currently around $30 per vehicle, valid for 7 days). Once inside the park, follow the signs towards SR-410 E and then to the Sourdough Mountain trailhead, located at the end of Road 7310 (approximately 10 miles from the park entrance). Please note that parking may be limited, especially during peak season, so arrive early.
