From Metaline Falls, WA, take WA-31 N for approximately 12 miles. You will pass through the small town of Ione. Continue straight on WA-31 N until you reach the junction with Forest Road 2200. Turn left onto Forest Road 2200 and follow the road for about 6 miles. This road will lead you to the Salmo-Priest Wilderness area. Be aware that some sections of Forest Road 2200 may be unpaved and require a vehicle with good clearance.
