Getting There

  • Public Transit

    From downtown Yakima, walk to the Yakima Transit Center located at 111 N 4th Ave. Take bus route 4, which heads towards Zillah. The bus will take you along the scenic route through the Yakima Valley. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at Gilbert Rd & Zillah Ave. From there, it's a short 0.5-mile walk to VanArnam Vineyards at 1305 Gilbert Rd. Head east on Zillah Ave, then turn right onto Gilbert Rd, and continue straight until you reach the vineyard.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Yakima. Start your ride on Yakima Ave heading east, then take a left onto 1st St. Follow 1st St which turns into Zillah Ave as you approach Zillah. Continue on Zillah Ave until you reach Gilbert Rd, then turn right. VanArnam Vineyards will be on your right at 1305 Gilbert Rd. The entire ride is approximately 12 miles and will take about 1 hour depending on your pace.

  • Walking

    For the adventurous, you can walk to VanArnam Vineyards from Yakima. Start at the Yakima Convention Center and head east on Yakima Ave. This route will take you past various shops and local attractions. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 1st St, where you will turn left. Follow 1st St as it turns into Zillah Ave, and then continue until you reach Gilbert Rd. Turn right onto Gilbert Rd and walk for about 0.5 miles. VanArnam Vineyards will be on your right at 1305 Gilbert Rd. This walk is approximately 12 miles and will take around 4 hours.
