Getting There

  • Car

    If you're traveling by car, start on Interstate 5 (I-5) and head north. Take Exit 194 for WA-2 E toward Snohomish/Spokane. Follow WA-2 E for about 30 miles until you reach the town of Sultan. In Sultan, turn right onto US-2 E and continue for approximately 15 miles until you reach the junction with WA-204. Continue straight onto WA-204 and follow it as it merges back into US-2 E. After another 10 miles, take the exit toward US-2 E/Index. Continue on US-2 E for about 20 miles. When you reach the town of Granite Falls, follow the signs to Mountain Loop Highway. After approximately 10 miles, look for the Big Four Ice Caves trailhead on your left side. There is a parking area available, but be aware that there may be a small parking fee (typically around $5).
