If you're traveling by car within Whidbey Island, start by heading to the Whidbey Island ferry terminal. Take the Mukilteo/Clinton ferry which operates frequently, but check the schedule for any potential wait times. The ferry ride is about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Clinton, follow the signs to Highway 525 N. Drive approximately 4 miles until you reach Highway 20 N, and continue driving until you arrive at Oak Harbor. From Oak Harbor, merge onto Highway 20 S, then take the exit toward I-5 S. Follow I-5 S until you reach the exit for Everett (Exit 192). Continue onto Broadway Ave, then turn right onto 412 Laurel Dr. The Rucker Mansion will be on your left.

If you're using public transportation, you can take the Island Transit bus service. Begin at any location on Whidbey Island and take a bus towards the Clinton ferry terminal. After arriving at the Clinton ferry terminal, board the Mukilteo ferry. Once you disembark, take the Community Transit bus number 200 from Mukilteo to Everett.
