If you are starting from downtown Yakima, head north on N 1st St toward E Yakima Ave. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach E Yakima Ave. Turn left onto E Yakima Ave and continue for 0.3 miles. You will cross the Yakima River and see the pedestrian path on your right. Follow the path along the riverbank until you reach the Fred G. Redmon Memorial Bridge, which is located at Selah Creek. The bridge will be directly ahead of you.

Starting from downtown Yakima, locate the Yakima Greenway Trail. You can access this trail by heading west on E Yakima Ave to S 1st St, then turn right. Follow the trail that runs along the Yakima River. Continue on the trail for approximately 2 miles, enjoying the scenic views. Eventually, you will see signs leading to the Fred G. Redmon Memorial Bridge. The bridge will be right off the trail where it intersects with Selah Creek.
