From the center of Canaan Valley, head southeast on Canaan Valley Road (WV-32 S) toward Davis. Continue on WV-32 S for about 7 miles until you reach the town of Davis. In Davis, turn left onto Thomas-Davis Road (CR-30). Follow this road for approximately 3 miles until you reach the intersection with Blackwater Canyon Trail. Turn right onto Blackwater Canyon Trail. Douglas Falls is located along this trail. Please note that there is no designated parking directly at the falls, and you may need to park along the road.

Public Transportation and Hiking
If you are using public transportation, you can take a bus from Canaan Valley to Davis. Once in Davis, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to the intersection of Thomas-Davis Road and Blackwater Canyon Trail. From there, you will need to hike along Blackwater Canyon Trail to reach Douglas Falls, which is approximately a 1.5-mile hike from the intersection. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes, as the trail can be rugged.
