From Dolly Sods Wilderness, head southeast on Forest Road 75 towards Canaan Valley. After approximately 10 miles, turn left onto US-219 S. Continue on US-219 S for about 6 miles until you reach the intersection with WV-7. Turn right onto WV-7 W and follow it for about 7 miles. As you approach Terra Alta, look for signs directing you to Cranesville Swamp Preserve. Turn right onto White Trail, where you will find the entrance to the preserve.
