If you are driving to Pendleton Overlook from the Dolly Sods Wilderness area, you will want to start by heading south on the Red Creek Road (County Road 26) from the main camping area. Continue on Red Creek Road for approximately 5 miles until you reach the intersection with Forest Road 75. Turn left onto Forest Road 75 and follow it for about 2 miles. Be cautious of any rough terrain, as this road can become bumpy. After 2 miles, you will see a sign for Pendleton Overlook on your right. The overlook is located just off the road, where parking is available.
