    Car

    If you are driving from the nearby town of Martinsburg, take I-81 South. After about 15 miles, take exit 16E for US-11 S toward Winchester. Continue on US-11 S for approximately 6 miles until you reach the intersection with Trough Rd. Turn left onto Trough Rd and continue for about 3 miles until you arrive at 3125 Trough Rd, Shepherdstown, WV 25443. There is no parking fee at the battlefield.

    Car

    From Charles Town, head southeast on US-340 S for about 15 miles. Take the exit toward Shepherdstown and turn right onto E German St. Follow this road until it becomes Trough Rd. Continue on Trough Rd for about 2 miles, and you will find the battlefield at 3125 Trough Rd, Shepherdstown, WV 25443. Parking is free.

    Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, you can take the Greyhound bus to Charles Town. From there, you will need to use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft, as there are no direct public transit options to Shepherdstown Battlefield. The rideshare will take approximately 20 minutes and may cost around $15 to $25 depending on traffic.
