    Start from the Fairmont City Hall located at 200 Jackson Street. Head south on Jackson Street for one block until you reach the intersection with 3rd Street. Turn right onto 3rd Street and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. You will pass several shops and local eateries. Once you reach the intersection with Fairmont Avenue (US-250), turn left and walk for another 0.3 miles. Keep an eye out for the large historical buildings on your left. Fleming–Watson Historic District will be on your left, easily recognizable by its Victorian architecture.

    From the Fairmont Transit Center located at 8 East Main Street, take the bus route that heads toward Fairmont Avenue. Board the bus towards the Fairmont Avenue stop. Once you arrive at Fairmont Avenue, disembark and walk south on Fairmont Avenue for about 0.2 miles. The Fleming–Watson Historic District will be on your right-hand side.
