    If you're in downtown Fairmont, start at the intersection of Main Street and 3rd Street. Head south on Main Street for two blocks until you reach the intersection with 5th Street. Turn left onto 5th Street and walk for about 0.5 miles. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. Continue straight until you reach the end of 5th Street, where it merges into the West Virginia Avenue. Keep walking straight on West Virginia Avenue, and after about 0.2 miles, you will see Palatine Park on your right, just past the intersection with Everest Drive.
