Getting There

There is no entrance fee for the park, but be aware of any parking regulations.

• Public Transportation

  Public transportation options are limited in this area. However, you can take a bus from Lewisburg to Maxwelton. Check local schedules for the Greenbrier Valley Transit to see if a bus is available. Once you arrive at Maxwelton, you may need to walk approximately 0.5 miles down US-219 to reach Charlie Mackey Memorial Park.   For those who prefer cycling, the Greenbrier River Trail is an excellent route. You can bike to Charlie Mackey Memorial Park by heading south along the trail.   If you are already in Maxwelton, you can walk to Charlie Mackey Memorial Park. From the nearest bus stop or local shop, head towards US-219 S. Walk along the side of the road for about 0.5 miles until you see Charlie Mackey Ln. Turn right, and the park entrance will be on your right at 165 Charlie Mackey Ln, Maxwelton, WV 24957. Please be cautious of traffic while walking.
