Walking
From the center of Harper's Ferry, head southeast on Potomac Street toward High Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with High Street, then turn left. Follow High Street until it merges with the Harpers Ferry Road (Route 340). Continue walking for about 1.5 miles. As you approach the intersection with Sharpsburg Pike, look for a sign pointing towards Sharpsburg. Cross the road to reach the pedestrian path along the side of the road. Continue on this path for another half mile until you see the entrance to West Woods on your right.
Bicycle
If you have a bike, you can take the same route as the walking instructions. Start from the center of Harper's Ferry and head southeast on Potomac Street. Merge onto Harpers Ferry Road (Route 340), then continue straight for about 1.5 miles. Look for the signs directing you to Sharpsburg. Once you reach Sharpsburg Pike, carefully cross the road and follow the bike path for another half mile until you reach West Woods on your right.
Public Transit (Bus)
From Harper's Ferry, walk to the Harpers Ferry bus stop located on Route 340. You can catch a bus that heads towards Sharpsburg. Make sure to check the schedule in advance, as bus times may vary. After boarding, stay on the bus for approximately 10-15 minutes until you reach the Sharpsburg stop. From there, you'll need to walk about 0.5 miles down Sharpsburg Pike, looking for the West Woods entrance on your left.
