If you are traveling by car within the Hatfield-McCoy Mountains, head southeast on WV-44 S from any point in the area. Continue for approximately 8 miles until you reach the junction with US-119 S. Turn right onto US-119 S and follow it for about 2.5 miles. Take the exit onto Jerry W Hwy (WV-10) and continue for about 1.5 miles. The Devil Anse Hatfield Homeplace Site will be on your left at 12790 Jerry W Hwy, Sarah Ann, WV 25644. Look for the historical marker and parking area.
