If you are starting from downtown Huntington, walk to the nearest bus stop on 4th Avenue. Catch the Tri-State Transit Authority (TTA) bus route 1 (the 'Downtown to Altizer' route). The bus will take you along 4th Avenue and then merge onto 29th Street. Stay on the bus for about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop near the intersection of Altizer Avenue and 29th Street. From there, walk east on Altizer Avenue for about 0.3 miles until you reach Altizer Park at 4801 Altizer Ave, Huntington, WV 25705.
Walking
If you are near the Marshall University campus, start at the Student Center and walk north on 5th Avenue. Continue straight until you reach 29th Street. Turn left onto 29th Street and walk until you reach Altizer Avenue. Turn right on Altizer Avenue and walk for about half a mile.
