If you're driving to Cliff Side Trail, start by heading to the New River Gorge National Park Visitor Center located at 104 Main St, Glen Jean, WV 25846. From there, take US-19 South for about 5 miles. Merge onto Route 60 West (towards Ansted) and continue for approximately 8 miles until you reach Hawks Nest Road. Turn left onto Hawks Nest Rd, and you will see the parking area for Cliff Side Trail on your right side after about 0.5 miles. Note that there is no parking fee at this location.

Using public transportation can be a bit challenging as there are limited options in the area. However, you can take a Greyhound or a local bus service to Fayetteville, WV. From Fayetteville, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to cover the remaining distance to Cliff Side Trail.
