Start at the Downtown Morgantown bus stop (located near the Mountainlair Student Union). Take the Mountain Line Transit bus route 7 towards the Monongalia County Ballpark. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes until you reach the stop at the intersection of Sr26116. From there, walk about 0.5 miles northeast on Sr26116 until you see the signs for Baughman Rock Overlook.

If you're staying in Downtown Morgantown, you can walk to Baughman Rock Overlook. Head east on University Avenue towards the West Virginia University campus. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Walnut Street. Turn right onto Walnut Street and walk until you reach the intersection with Beatty Avenue. Continue straight onto Coopers Rock Road, which will lead you out of the city. Follow the road for about 5 miles, and you will arrive at Baughman Rock Overlook.
