    From the center of Morgantown, head east on University Avenue toward Walnut Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the WV 705. Turn left onto WV 705 (Mason-Dixon Highway). Follow this road for about 1 mile, then turn right onto John Fox Road. Continue on John Fox Road for approximately 1.5 miles. The Dents Run Covered Bridge will be on your left. Look for the signs indicating the bridge.

    Public Transit (Bus)

    Start at the Mountain Line Transit Authority bus stop at the Morgantown Mall. Take the bus route 32 (Westover) towards Westover. You will need to transfer at the downtown transfer point. From there, take route 7 (Morgantown-Morgantown Airport) and get off at the stop closest to the intersection of John Fox Road and WV 705. Walk along John Fox Road for about 1 mile, and you will reach Dents Run Covered Bridge on your left.

    Biking

    Begin at the Mon River Rail-Trail near the Morgantown Waterfront. Head south along the trail until you connect to the local roadways. Turn left onto WV 705 and follow it for 1 mile. Then, turn right onto John Fox Road. Biking along this road for approximately 1.5 miles will lead you directly to Dents Run Covered Bridge, which will be on your left.
