Getting There

• Car

  From the center of Seneca Rocks, head west on Route 33 for approximately 7 miles. You will pass through some beautiful scenery and may spot the famous Seneca Rocks cliffs to your left. Look for the Spruce Knob-Seneca Rocks National Recreation Area signs. Once you reach the intersection of Route 33 and Route 28, turn left onto Route 28 South. Continue on Route 28 for about 5 miles until you reach the entrance to the recreation area. There is no entrance fee, but be sure to check for any parking fees depending on the specific site you wish to visit. Follow the signs within the park to reach your desired destination, whether it be Spruce Knob or Seneca Rocks.

  While there are limited public transportation options directly to Spruce Knob-Seneca Rocks National Recreation Area, you can take a Greyhound or a local shuttle bus to nearby towns like Elkins or Moorefield.
