Car
From Spruce Knob, head southwest on County Route 22 (Spruce Knob Road) for approximately 10 miles. Follow signs for US-33 W and merge onto US-33 W. Continue on US-33 W for about 20 miles until you reach the intersection with I-79 S. Merge onto I-79 S toward Charleston. After about 20 miles, take exit 132 for US-250 S toward Fairmont. Continue on US-250 S for about 8 miles until you reach Fairmont. From Fairmont, follow the signs to Valley Falls State Park located at 720 Valley Falls Rd, Fairmont, WV 26554.
Public Transportation
From Spruce Knob, you may need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to reach the nearest public transportation hub. The closest major bus station is in Elkins, about 30 miles away. From Elkins, take a Greyhound or local bus service to Fairmont. Once in Fairmont, you can take a taxi or rideshare service to Valley Falls State Park located at 720 Valley Falls Rd, Fairmont, WV 26554. Be sure to check the schedules and book your tickets in advance, as public transportation options may be limited.
