Getting There

    From downtown Appleton, walk to the nearest bus stop for Valley Transit. Catch Route 9, heading towards Green Bay. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Greenleaf & Main St'. After getting off, walk north on Main St for about 0.5 miles, and you will reach the Fox River State Trail, which is located along the Fox River.

    Start at the Appleton Public Library located at 225 N Oneida St. Rent a bike from a nearby rental shop. Head south on Oneida St for 1 mile until you reach the Fox River State Trail entrance. Follow the trail heading east until you arrive at Greenleaf, WI. The trail will lead you directly to the Fox River State Trail area.

    If you are near the Appleton Memorial Park, begin your walk by heading south on the park's main path. Continue south along S. Memorial Dr until you reach W. Northland Ave. Cross over to the other side and continue walking east for about 1.5 miles. Turn left onto E. Riverside Dr and follow it until you see the Fox River State Trail entrance on your left.
