Getting There

• Car

  From downtown Bayfield, head south on Rittenhouse Avenue. Continue straight as Rittenhouse Avenue becomes Highway 13. After approximately 1 mile, turn left onto Frog Bay Road. Follow Frog Bay Road for about 2 miles, and you will see the entrance to Frog Bay Tribal National Park on your right at 92060-92070 Frog Bay Rd, Bayfield, WI 54814. Parking is available at the park.

• Public Transportation

  Currently, there is no direct public transportation service to Frog Bay Tribal National Park. However, you can take a bus from Bayfield to nearby Washburn and then use a taxi service to reach the park. The bus service may operate on a limited schedule, so check local listings for times and routes. Expect taxi fares from Washburn to the park to be approximately $15-$25, depending on the service.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Bayfield. Start at Rittenhouse Avenue and head south until it connects to Highway 13. Turn left onto Frog Bay Road, and bicycle approximately 2 miles to the park entrance. Please ensure you wear a helmet and follow all traffic regulations while biking.

• Walking

  Walking from downtown Bayfield to Frog Bay Tribal National Park is feasible but will take some time. Head south on Rittenhouse Avenue, continue onto Highway 13, and then turn left onto Frog Bay Road. The distance is about 3 miles one way, so be prepared for a 1.5 to 2-hour walk. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
