If you are driving from the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore Visitor Center, head southeast on Main St (WI-13) towards Bayfield. Continue on WI-13 for about 11 miles until you reach the city of Bayfield. As you enter Bayfield, turn left onto Sweeny Ave. Follow Sweeny Ave, and you will find the Big Ravine - West Rim Trail trailhead on your right. There is parking available along Sweeny Ave.
