Car
If you are driving from anywhere in Central Wisconsin, take US-51 S towards Madison. Continue on US-51 S for approximately 70 miles until you reach the I-39 S/I-90 W interchange. Merge onto I-90 W/I-39 S towards Madison. After about 30 miles, take exit 142A to merge onto WI-30 E toward Madison. Follow WI-30 E for about 5 miles, then take exit 1B for US-151 S toward Madison and merge onto US-151 S. Continue on US-151 S, which becomes John Nolen Dr. After approximately 2 miles, turn left onto University Ave. The Chazen Museum of Art will be on your right at 800 University Ave. Parking is available nearby but may incur fees.

Many Central Wisconsin towns have bus services that connect to Madison, often requiring a transfer in larger towns. Once you arrive at the Madison bus station, take the Madison Metro Transit bus line 2 or 3 in the direction of the University of Wisconsin campus. Get off at the stop at University Ave & N Park St. From there, walk east on University Ave for approximately 0.5 miles. The Chazen Museum of Art will be on your left side at 800 University Ave. Make sure to check the local bus schedules for the most current information and potential fare costs.
