    If you are starting from the Wisconsin State Capitol, head west on State Street. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Park Street. Turn right onto Park Street and continue walking for about 0.2 miles. You will see the Humanities Building on your left at 455 N Park St. Enter the building and take the elevator or stairs to the 3rd floor. The Department of History is located in room 3211.

    From the downtown area, you can take the Metro Transit bus number 80 or 81 at the State Street bus stop. These buses will take you toward the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Get off at the 'Union South' stop. From there, walk north on Park Street for about 0.3 miles. The Humanities Building (455 N Park St) will be on your right. Enter the building and go to the 3rd floor for the Department of History.

    If you are biking, you can follow the bike paths from downtown Madison. Head towards the University by following the bike lane on State Street.
