If you're traveling by car, start by getting on I-39 N from your current location in Central Wisconsin. Follow I-39 N for about 20 miles until you reach exit 94 for WI-54 W toward Wisconsin Rapids. Merge onto WI-54 W and continue for approximately 5 miles. As you approach Wisconsin Rapids, take a slight left onto 8th St S. Continue on 8th St S for about 1.5 miles, then turn right onto Gaynor Ave. The Wisconsin Rapids Municipal Zoo will be on your left at 1911 Gaynor Ave, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54495. Parking is available on-site, and there is no additional cost for parking.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, check the local bus service for routes that connect to Wisconsin Rapids. The nearest Greyhound bus station is in Stevens Point, approximately 30 miles away.
