Car
If you're driving within Devil's Lake State Park, start at the main entrance off of Highway 113. Follow the road into the park, and you'll come to a fork. Take the left fork onto Park Entrance Road. Continue straight until you see the signs for the Devil's Lake Nature Center. The parking lot is located near the entrance of the center. Please note that there may be an entrance fee to the park, typically around $11 for a daily vehicle pass.
Walking
If you are already within walking distance in the park, locate the nearest trailhead. Follow the marked trails towards the Devil's Lake Nature Center. The trails are well-maintained and clearly signposted, making it easy to navigate. The Nature Center is approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the southern end of the lake.
Public Transportation
Public transportation options are limited directly to Devil's Lake State Park. If you are coming from nearby towns like Baraboo or Wisconsin Dells, you may need to take a bus to the closest stop and then arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to the park. Check local transit schedules for available routes. Keep in mind that the nearest bus services may not run frequently, so plan accordingly.
