Bicycle
If you are in Baileys Harbor, start at the Baileys Harbor Town Hall located at 2400 N. Pine St. Head north on Pine St. towards County Rd E. Turn right onto County Rd E and continue for about 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Maple Rd and follow it for about 1 mile. The entrance to Kangaroo Lake Nature Preserve will be on your right at 7912 N Maple Rd.

From the Baileys Harbor Town Center, walk north on County Rd E. After 0.5 miles, turn left on Maple Rd. Continue straight for about 1 mile until you reach Kangaroo Lake Nature Preserve at 7912 N Maple Rd. It’s a serene walk with beautiful views along the way.

Public Transportation (Bus)
If you are coming from Fish Creek or Ephraim, take the Door County Trolley service (check the schedule for routes and stops). Get off at the Baileys Harbor stop. From there, you can bike or walk to Kangaroo Lake Nature Preserve. Follow County Rd E north and then turn onto Maple Rd as described previously.
