Getting There

  • Bicycle

    If you're in Fish Creek, head north on County Road F. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with State Highway 42. Turn left onto Highway 42 and follow it until you see the signs for Newport State Park. The park entrance will be on your right after about 6 miles.

    From Egg Harbor, take the Door County Trolley service that operates through the area. Check their schedule and route to find a stop closest to Newport State Park. You would typically ride the trolley until it reaches Ellison Bay, then walk approximately 1.5 miles north on County Road NP to the park entrance.

    From Ellison Bay, head west on Wisconsin 42 until you reach County Road NP. Turn left onto County Road NP. Continue walking for about 1 mile, and you will see the entrance to Newport State Park on your left.
