If you are starting from the downtown area of Eau Claire, head west on East Grand Avenue. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with North Barstow Street. Turn left onto North Barstow Street and walk south for a couple of blocks. You will see Phoenix Park on your right. Enter the park and follow the path towards the river. The Chippewa River Trailhead is located at 330 Riverfront Terrace, directly along the riverfront.
