    From any point along the Great River Road, drive towards Bangor, Wisconsin. If you are coming from the south, take US-61 N towards La Crosse and then merge onto I-90 W. Take exit 7 for WI-33/WI-162 toward Bangor. Continue on WI-33 W for about 8 miles until you reach Bangor. Once in Bangor, take County Road U (W1049 Co Rd U) heading north. The La Crosse River State Trail will be on your left. There is no entry fee for the trail.
