From there, walk about 0.5 miles east along WI-33, following the designated pedestrian paths until you reach the Paul E. Stry Nature Preserve entrance on your right.

    If you have a bike, start from Riverside Park and head west on the La Crosse River State Trail. Continue biking for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with WI-33. Turn left onto WI-33 and bike approximately 1 mile, keeping an eye out for the preserve entrance on your left. Ensure you follow all traffic rules and watch for vehicle traffic as you approach the preserve.

    If you prefer to walk, start from downtown La Crosse and head west on State Street. Continue until you reach the intersection with 7th Street and take a left.
